Twenty-Three Hundred East

I took this last summer in Central Illinois. Right now in Michigan, it is 19° without windchill, it took me 15 minutes to dig my way into the garage after work, and I’m cold. So I decided to post a picture that reminds me of a time in the not so distant past when the sun was warm, the grass was green, and birds sang merrily in the trees.

  1. This makes me think of some classic movie about some ruffian youth who is misunderstood but finds peace in the openness of the country landscape…
